THE UGLY DUCKLING

The ugly duckling is a story of an ugly duckling and her fight with the criticizing world. This story blatantly depicts the ugly notion of an ugly society. Assassinating innocence, inner beauty, and a sacred soul have been illuminated in the story.

 

However, there are a lot of stories based upon this concept, but it has its own touch. The story successfully wins on presenting a barren society that does not appreciate inner beauty. However, it depends on people to people, how they judge and respond to these matters.the ugly duckling, hen and a woman

The ugly duckling is a wonderful moral story that teaches us to respect and value every person rather than degrading and overestimating. So, summary lovers let’s get dive into this fantastic story.

THE UGLY DUCKLING STORY

 

THE UNIQUE ONE

It was lovely dawn. Few ducks were swimming and enjoying themselves with their respective ducklings. However, a lone duck was sitting on the riverside, waiting for her ducklings to come out from eggs. She was feeling rather bored as there was no one to spend time with and talk with her.

After a while, three baby duckling came out out of the four eggs, whereas one last duckling remained in the egg. The mother duck was worried as she had never expected this to happen. She readily warns the rest of the baby ducklings to not go near the river and decides to wait for the only duckling to come out.

After a moment, this new duckling comes out of the egg, she was very delicate but was different from the rest of her siblings. At first, When the mother duckling saw her, she also gets surprised.the goose is wondered to find a duckling different from rest of her ducklings

She noticed that her last baby duckling was a bit different and unlike the rest of her beautiful babies, in simple words, she looked quite ugly.

However, a mother always loves her kids regardless of their colour, height, weight etc…

Nothing matters, When you have a loving mother. A mother can’t discriminate between her children because she loves them, and as they say that ”LOVE” does not brag or degrade anyone.

Thought, not everyone had the same point of view about the ugly duckling. They would often make fun of her complexion, even her own siblings were also involved in it.love and its nature

Soon the ugly duckling started feeling lonely and upset. However, while her mother keeps taking care of her and advising her not to react to them. She loved her baby duckling and hence did not want her to suffer from any mental trauma. Thereby she would always stand by her.

 

THE ESCAPE PLAN

The innocent ugly duckling had been criticised for a rather long period of time, hence finally, she decides to escape. The duckling flies in the sky and puts her level best to escape from there. She was fed off, of being constantly mocked up and made fun of by others.

Thought, still she had no hatred or anger for her mother as she herself knew that her mother had been very supportive to her. However, In the meantime, a humongous storm strikes that leads the duckling to get upon the surface. It was a sudden strike of a storm and in no time it did capture a huge range.The ugly duckling decides to leave the place, she had been staying in

The baffled duckling readily lands upon the ground and gasps in relaxation. Meanwhile, she notices a shelter, she rushes towards it as it was the best move for her then.

The next morning, she gets introduced to a cat and a hen. There lived an old woman who decides to raise the ugly duckling.

Woman- Who is she? she must have lost her way, anyways, I think she can be lucrative for me. 

Cat- It’s an ugly duckling!. Hey you, have you ever seen your image in the mirror.

Hen- Right! Even I myself have not come across such an ugly creature in all these years. Look, you ugly duckling! you are such a waste. you don’t even lay eggs. The hen and the cat teases the ugly duckling, calling her ''ugly'' over and over again

Woman- I still think that she is profitable for us, when she will grow up, she will too lay a lot of eggs. However, we have to keep overlooking her ugly face, otherwise, it might ruin our entire day.

 

TRANSFORMATION

All these talks make the ugly duckling feels even worse than before. She starts remembering her mother’s care and love for her. The duckling was not happy there whatsoever, hence she again decides to leave that place.

Again, she flies to one more new destination. After a while, she notices a beautiful swan around her. She promptly lands up and guesses what!

It was the entire group of swans. All looked so beautiful and lovely. The duckling was enjoying the sight to her fullest.

Duckling- They look so amazing, I must not appear to them, otherwise, they might start blaming and venting anger on me.

Duckling- They are right! I am such a weird creature, I look pathetic and no one likes to talk or even see anyone like me. 

Duckling- Though, I don’t understand that why don’t they try to understand my feeling like my mother does. Anyways I will not show up to them. The ugly duckling is finally happy as she realizes that she is a swan

Thereafter, this gloomy duckling heads towards the river to see them clearly. However, meanwhile, she also ends up seeing her own image in the river and guesses what!. She was apparently perplexed and overjoyed to see herself as a beautiful swan.

 

BEFRIENDS

For a while, the duckling herself could not believe that it was she who looked that wonderful. But later, she accepts the veracity and readily joins the swan’s group. Thereafter, she befriends other swans and enjoys herself with them.

It was perhaps the first time when she was that happy. Later, she notices a family coming from behind the bushes and appreciating her beauty. The makes her feel even crazier, that time she literally gets in a state of euphoria.

 

Moral of the ugly duckling

(1) Outer beauty is temporary, Whereas inner beauty is immortal.

(2) Oe should never brag or overestimate itself for the factors which are not controlled by us. 

(3) Treat others as you want to be treated by others. 

(4) Do not judge or hurt others for silly reasons.

(5) Believe in God and you will witness the miracle one day.
