THE STORY OF NATIVITY
The story of the nativity is a summary of Jesus’s birth. ”JESUS” Who is the son of god and came to alleviate the selfish burden of our own sins. The story of the nativity is a wonderful story that depicts the greatness and a level of a pure heart of our almighty lord.
Although God had already decided the terrible fate of our SAVIOUR and thereby he sent messages through different prophets, years back before the incident took place. Prophet NATHAN and MICA were also amongst them.
The Nativity of Jesus happened for a big mission. The mission that God himself had set in his mind. He sends his son to rescue us from sins and a life of endless pain. Although the ending of JESUS’S life was undoubtedly very awful. But it was required for a reason that we people needed proof and god understood that. Now we people do celebrate CHRISTMAS, GOOD FRIDAY AND ESTER every passing year in his memory. And all this got possible due to an incidence which is ”THE NATIVITY OF JESUS”.Now we do have ample shreds of evidence that he exists but STILL, we have not changed. ASK YOURSELF WHY?
Quite often I would ask few questions to myself regarding Jesus Christ and god. Although now I do have clear answers to all my questions. Let us just get dive into those…
(1) WHAT MADE GODSEND JESUS IN THE LAND OF SINS?
well, it’s quite easy to just answer but extremely tough to accept. God sent his son to prove the veracity of his own existence by sacrificing his own beloved son.
Although he had been doing this for years. DON’T WE KNOW MOSES ?, WHO WITH THE HELP OF HIS GOD DIVIDES THE RED SEA INTO TWO PARTS OR DID HE NEED TO REMIND US AGAIN, HOW HE SAVES DANIEL FROM VORACIOUS LIONS.
But even after knowing hundreds of these types of miracles, people kept abjuring him and disobeying his commands. Hence god finally sends his only son whom we just can’t disapprove of.
JESUS ONCE SAID- whoever beliefs in me would never die instead would get an immortal life. Although by ”DEATH” Jesus meant spiritual death.
(2) WHY DID JESUS GO THROUGH ALL THOSE PAINS AND FINALLY SACRIFICES HIMSELF?
Jesus could have easily saved himself from all those oppresses and could have punished them back for their deeds. But our Jesus does not do any of this. Jesus well understood that he was the epitome of peace and was supposed to defeat ”THE DEATH”.
So that the world who forgets very easily and requires a bunch of proofs to accept as reality, always remembers that there is only a single man in the world who actually defeated the death and hence is the SON OF GOD.
(3) WHY WAS GOD EVEN TRYING TO PROVE HIMSELF THE ONLY GOD?
God kept proving himself as the only god because he actually was and it’s just an act of justice. But primarily he does it so that we never complain again that we did not know him and thereby were indulge in sins. Especially after the sacrifice of Jesus. He also warns those who do worship their fake gods because it’s a sin too. God has done everything whatever we were supposed to do, from The nativity of Jesus to The resurrection of Jesus. Hence now it’s our turn to pay him back the reward just by living a good life.
PROPHESY OF PROPHETS
Back in those days there used to be a very popular prophet named NATHAN. He was from the time of David’s kingdom. He was the only one who had made David confront his sins towards Bathsheba.
Bathsheba was Uriah’s wife, she was extremely beautiful and hence was attractive too. One day King David finds her bathing on the rooftop and decides to do adultery with her. Later on, he mischievously plans a conspiracy under which Uriah loses his life.
Thereafter once Uriah was dead, David and Bathsheba do adultery together. Although it was a grave sin in god’s eyes and David knew it too.
Whereas Nathan also foretells King David about the repercussion of the grave misconduct David and Bathsheba had done together.
As result, their first child dies, but David accepts his blunder and repents from God on behalf of his sin. Later king David gets one more son from her and they name it Solomon. Solomon was blessed with god’s grace and hence emerges as a great king.
This used to be the bar of the prophets about their prophecies. Although this all used to be possible with the help of god’s blessings upon them.
There were around 300 such prophets along with Nathan and Micah who had predicted Jesus’s arrival.
It was the time when king Herod was in rule. He was an absolute orthodox, pervert, rigorous, and was very arrogant by nature. As he notices the hype of a newborn baby who was supposed to rule the entire world. He plans a conspiracy to kill him. Hence he passes an order of killing all the babies under the age of 2 years.
But god guides Mother Mary and Joseph throughout their journey. Finally, the day comes when Jesus takes birth and the ultimate celebrations start. In the story of Nativity God uses his angels and people to protect THE SAVIOUR.
Many year’s backs there used to be a Jewish woman Mary and a man Joseph. They loved each other a lot hence their family members also got them engaged together.
Mary was very naive and would follow god from heart, whereas Joseph was also a good person. He was a carpenter and would work hard for the survival of his big family. As a matter of fact, he had many good qualities and hence Mary loved her immensely.
THE APPEARANCE OF GABRIEL
One night while Mary was in deep sleep an angel abruptly appears to her. It was Gabriel, Mary gets scared of him at once. But Gabriel comforts her and asks her to just be calm instead. He also tells her about god’s will that he had ordered him to appear in front of her.
Thereafter he shares this message that she was going to be pregnant soon. Gabriel also tells her that it would be a baby boy who would be the Messiah.
He tells Mary to name that boy ”JESUS” which meant ”THE SAVIOUR”. As Jesus was going to save the world from their sins.
Thereafter as Joseph gets to know that Mary was going to give birth to a child, he gets worried. Joseph was even reluctant about their marriage. But one night an angel also does appear to him and dispels all his misunderstandings. Moreover, he even asks him to take care of Mary and her son. Although Joseph was rather convinced and consequently accepts her.
KING HEROD – THE OPPRESSOR
As king Herod was already a blackguard, he would often oppress his citizens. This time he makes a proclamation by one of his minister (Caesar Augustus) about the new decree of paying tax. Hence accordingly to this new decree, everyone had to register themselves in their home town for the census.
Hence Mary and Joseph also head towards their home town ( Bethlehem) who lived in Nazareth. Although because it was miles away from Nazareth they had a donkey with them for convenience. Notwithstanding Mary was constantly dealing with the extreme pain due to her pregnancy. But finally, they reach their destination after a couple of days of constant walk.
STORY OF NATIVITY SCENE
By the time they reach Bethlehem, Mary actually quails before the pain of pregnancy. She in no time realizes that she was about to give birth to a child anytime. Thereby she urges Joseph to search for an inn, but unfortunately, there was no availability of any such inn.
At last, he requests an uncharted man to provide just a shelter where they could spend a night. Joseph also emphasizes him by demonstrating the urgency of the need. But the stranger actually was obliged to refuse him as he really did not have any inn to offer them.
Then suddenly he gets an idea and he ends up offering them the stable he possessed. Joseph immediately agrees to stay in the stable for a night as it was the only option. After a while in the stable Mary finally gives birth to a child. They name him ”JESUS” as the angel told them.
the celebration begins
Miles far from there somewhere around the Bethlehem few shepherds were reposing with their flocks of sheep. Suddenly they see a big shining star. It was moving as if it wanted them to follow it. Whereas on the other side three wise men also notice this star. Although they themselves speculate it as the arrival of their Messiah.
Meanwhile, an angel appears to them saying to follow the star and also discloses the information about their Messiah. Hence they readily start following the star.
In the midst of the journey these wise men also meet the king, Herod. They do express their joy to him and tell him about the upcoming king of the entire world. Although Herod gets undoubtedly very annoyed after hearing this news, he still pretends to be happy about it.
Herod also requests them to share the address of the birthplace of the new king. The wise men promise the king to share the address. Thereafter they head back to the journey and finally they reach the stable where they find baby Jesus.
Meanwhile, the shepherds also arrive and all of them start celebrating the moment together. Each year we also celebrate this day as Christmas on the account of Jesus’s birthday.
KING HEROD – THE DESTROYER
King Herod gets super angry when the wise men did not return to him with the message he sought. He was also terrified as he did not want to lose his legacy. Hence finally he decides to kill all the newly born babies within the age of 2 years old of Jerusalem.
Thereby an angel again shows up to Joseph telling him to quickly leave for Egypt as they were unsafe there. The very next morning Joseph brings Mary with him. Mary keeps asking about his sudden decision of leaving Bethlehem but Joseph parries her questions and just tells her to follow.
Mary trusted Joseph so she listens to him and does not ask anything thereafter. A few years later when they get the news of Herod’s death they again shift to Bethlehem.
JESUS CHRIST EMERGES ( THE SUN RISES)
There Jesus Christ grows up as a young vibrant boy and starts preaching for god. All his life he only tries to show the right path to the people.
JESUS SAYS- ” I AM THE WAY AND THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME”
Jesus would go from one to another place to peddle his messages to the majority. So that everyone knows about the way of life. Although under a conspiracy he deliberately sacrifices his life after passing through unbearable torture, pain, agony and insults.
He did this all so that each time before our legs move for sin, we must remember him as a man who all his life did only good things and yet got punishment for being our benevolent.
LET US ALL TODAY FORTIFY HIS ENLIGHTENMENTS AND TAKE OATH THAT WE WOULD NOT BREACH HIS COMMANDMENTS AND WOULD LIVE A GOOD LIFE IN HIM.
THE LESSONS FROM THE STORY OF NATIVITY
(1) IN THE STORY OF NATIVITY MULTIPLE TIMES GOD USES HIS PEOPLE AND ANGELS TO FIX THE PROBLEMS. NOWADAYS ALSO HE WORKS SIMILARLY, HE USES HIS PEOPLE TO HELP US. BUT THEN WE TEND TO FORGET HIM ONCE WE ARE OUT OF THE CALAMITY. WE MUST LOOK INTO OURSELVES AND ASK WHY DO WE DO THAT.
(2) FROM THE STORY OF NATIVITY WE LEARN THAT NO ONE CAN STOP GOD FROM SAVING HIS PEOPLE. IN THE STORY OF NATIVITY GOD SAVES MARY AND JOSEPH AMAZINGLY. HENCE HE CAN ALSO SAVE US FROM OUR PROBLEMS. WE JUST HAVE TO BELIEVE AND OBEY HIM.
(3) THE STORY OF NATIVITY ALSO REMINDS US THAT THE WAGES OF SIN IS ONLY DEATH. IN THE STORY OF NATIVITY THE KING HEROD DIES MISERABLY AFTER SUFFERING FROM A FATAL ILLNESS. THIS MUST HAVE BEEN THE RETALIATION OF GOD HIMSELF FOR HIS SINS. HOWEVER, WE MUST LOOK INTO OURSELVES AND ASK AREN’T WE UPBRINGING ANY HEROD WITHIN US.
(4) FROM THE STORY OF NATIVITY WE ALSO LEARN THAT WE MUST DEEM JESUS AS OUR SAVIOUR. AS HE HAS NOT ONLY BORE ALL THE PAIN AND DIED BUT ALSO ROSE ON THE THIRD DAY AS A SHINING STAR.
