There was a naughty shepherd boy who lived in a village. He had some sheep, which he would bring with him to the nearest field from his house twice a day. Like every usual day, One day he took his flock of sheep with himself to the lawns near the forest to feed them.
Usually, he would graze them for 2-3 hours each time and consequently, he would often feel bored. But would try to spend time by doing some absurd things.
But that day he decided to do something interesting. Something which could make him laugh or entertain him substantially.
So that he would have something to brag about in front of his friends. As he was already a kind of boy who would flatter and overestimate himself immensely. hence would always be in a search to accumulate a kind of incidences which would illuminate him as a hero.
LOITERING OF THE BOY
After musing for a while, He decided to scream as he is about to be encountered by a wolf. so that when villagers get to hear his call, they would immediately endeavour their best to reach out to him and when they would find him safe in the absence of any wolf. He would mock up the villagers.
THE BOY DECEIVES THE VILLAGERS
Accordingly to the prepared plan. The shepherd boy calls the villagers for help. When the villagers heard his call, Every individual left their job and rushed to the boy.
Although many were doing a very important job when they heard the boy’s call.
But when found that all of them had been fooled miserably. They felt rather insulted but finally got back to their job. Although few people were deeply hurt from that incident and consequently were all quite pissed off by the boy.
THE CONSTANT ANNOY
The boy nonetheless does not stop bothering the villagers. Instead, he kept fooling the villagers for the next few days constantly. And whenever the villagers would find him safe would feel cheated.
One day the shepherd boy like other usual days took the flock to the field near the forest and he bumped up from a real wolf. He got perplexed to find him there and started shivering as he was already baffled.
He readily thought to call for help from the villagers. Who used to rescue him each time he would call and so as did.
But this time unfortunately when the villagers heard the call, they thought that again the boy must be trying to mislead them. Thereby one went to rescue the boy and the wolf killed the boy.
THE VALUE OF HONESTY
Honesty is invaluable and this story also proves it. However, if the boy would not have betrayed those innocent villagers multiple times and would have been honest with them, Then definitely he would have been alive…
