THE FOOLISH LION AND THE CLEVER RABBIT
The foolish lion and the clever rabbit is the summary of a lion and his oppression towards the other animals. It’s a fictional story. The story revolves around The lion, Rabbit and other wild animals.
”The foolish lion and the clever rabbit” is a moral story for children. The story proves how injustice cannot persist any longer and is finally perished.
In the story, The lion has a strong reason to blackmail other wild animals of the jungle. Every day one animal used to be sent to the lion and he would kill him.
One day the rabbit went to the lion as his meal. The lion was so hungry thereby he gets angry when he sees the small rabbit. Because he knew that the small rabbit would not be adequate to satisfy his hunger.
Although the rabbit also knew this before he reached out to the king lion. But he was doing this as per a strategy. The strategy ended the lion’s oppression forever.
The foolish lion and the clever rabbit short story
THE DOMINANCE OF LION
There was a big jungle. All the wild animals used to live there happily unless this giant lion started showing its dominance. The lion so big, fierce, and aggressive. He needed to kill an animal every day.
Hence the lion would kill an animal every passing day and it continued for a rather long time period. Soon the animals realized that it was the lion who was killing their friends.
They wanted to help them but they also knew that they could not. There were also some incidences When the lion killed their close friends in front of them.
THE ALLIANCE
One day all the wild animals gather at a place to decide on the solution to this problem. They could not see their young kids being targeted by the lion any longer now.
Although they also understood that the lion would not spare them at any cost. Thereby they needed a solution that could keep their young generation safe and alive.
So that they also get the opportunity to live and thrive. Hence keeping all these aspects in the mind. A decision is taken, accordingly to which every day one selective animal was to be given to the lion.
Everyone agreed to this condition. Thereafter they planned to have a meeting with the lion to let the king know about their decision.
THE MEETING
As the lion gets to know about this alliance, he promptly decides to convene this meeting. After few days, during the meeting, every wild animal agrees to follow the condition. Thereafter the meeting is dismissed.
THE FOOLISH LION DIES
Till the next few days, the lion was getting an animal every day. The lion now did not even have to put any effort into hunting. But one day a small rabbit comes to his cave. The rabbit was so small that the lion gets angry and replies to the rabbit about his capacity of eating ability, angrily.
The lion degrades the rabbit and realizes that he was not adequate to satisfy his hunger. The clever rabbit was actually following a plan to end the lion’s oppress, over the entire wild animals.
Thereby he lies to him saying that there was one more lion who ate the other two rabbits, who were sent to him as his meal. The giant lion gets even angrier and tells the rabbit to take him there.
The clever rabbit takes him to a well and points out into the well as if there was a lion. Actually, it was nothing but the lion’s own reflection in the water. But the foolish lion could not get this and jumps into the well to kill the lion and finally drowns.
THE MORAL OF THE STORY
”THE FOOLISH LION AND THE CLEVER RABBIT” is a moral story and the morals are as follows-
(1) DO NOT EVER TRY TO OPPRESS OTHERS WITH YOUR DOMINANCE.
(2) EVERY PROBLEM HAS A SOLUTION.
(3) USE YOUR INTELLIGENCE TO TACKLE THE PROBLEM.
