JESUS HEALS THE LEPER
Jesus heals the leper is a story of a leper whom Jesus cures. The leper comes to Jesus with all his hopes and apparently endows his body and soul to Jesus. In returns, Jesus also takes away all his pain and agony, which he had been carrying for years.
Although Jesus also warns him from spreading that news of the miracle he did with him. Instead, he just told him to appear to a priest offering Moses commandments. This story is one of the most amazing stories of Jesus Christ. From this story, we understand the love of Jesus for us. Moreover, we also observe that Jesus does not seek any credit on the behalf of his deeds or blessings. Instead, he is extremely inclined towards his job of peddling the commandments of the almighty god. He does peddle the messages so that he successfully saves each one of us and no one deprives us of the immortal life.
Although in other incidences from Jesus’s life, we also have a bunch of examples where Jesus shirks away from ascribing himself for any achievement. Moreover, when Jesus was hanged on the cross and was being oppressed, he even prays for the forgiveness of those sinners from the lord. These incidences not only shows how great Jesus is but also illuminates his love for us.
Jesus heals the leper is also one of the kinds of stories, where Jesus steals everyone’s heart. As this story articulately reflects the character of our saviour (Jesus Christ), Sunday school teachers also love to teach this to children.
Whereas children also love to hear these kinds of fantastic short summaries related to our favourite Jesus. Christ.
So let’s just get dive into the summary of the Jesus heals the leper…
JESUS HEALS MAN WITH LEPROSY
One day Jesus was with his disciples, departing from one village to the other. During the journey, a leper appears to them. He readily reaches out to Jesus, as by then almost everyone had heard about his miraculous deeds.
This leper also comes to him expecting the same treatment by Jesus. But meanwhile, he was rushing towards Jesus, his disciples stop him. They do not let him get closer to Jesus as he was already suffering from leprosy and hence could have been risky for all.
Whereas those disciples also maintain a rather distance from this leper. All this makes the leper feel extremely bad about himself. Although it was not the first time when he was being treated in that way and consequently he had accustomed himself to that discrimination.
Whereas as we all know that our Jesus is so great that he can even read the minds, so as he does with the leper too. Hence Jesus understood his pains and agonies. Moreover, Jesus also understood the humiliations he would go through every day due to the discrimination.
Thereby Jesus immediately stops his own disciples and allows them to let the leper come closer to him. Finally, the leper gets near to his Saviour to get cured. Thereafter Jesus gently asks him to just close his eyes and by the time he opens his eyes for the next time, he was cured. As the leper notices his body free from all those wounds, he starts dancing and singing. The fine man praises Jesus’s name with vibrant enthusiasm and endless joy. Everyone from the crowd also starts cheering for Jesus and celebrate the moment.
As Jesus notices the happy people cheering for him, he also feels good about those people. But then Jesus dictates the leper to just not let anyone know about that miracle. Instead commands him to visit a priest offering Moses commandments.
Jesus does it because he was extremely inclined towards his job. He knew that God had sent him to spread his messages to mankind and not to just show his unnatural powers. Whereas Jesus also does not like to overestimate himself instead whatever he does, he does fulfil the requirements only.
This is the character of our almighty Jesus. Moreover, Jesus also loves us so much that he just does not want us to be deprived of the immortal life, god has kept for all of us. Thereby he dictates the leper to make people follow, Moses commandments which will make people voluntarily worthy enough to get the immortal life.
