HAL ELROD MIRACLE MORNING

” The miracle morning ” is a non-fictional book, Hal Elrod is the author of this book and was published on December  7, 2012. This book is based on Hal Elrod’s own struggles, and the vicissitudes he copes in his life and gets triumph over them all. It holds the secrets of redemption from all the calamities in the author’s life, and also those five rituals he discovers himself to eradicate afflictions and despondency from his life, which can be implemented by any individuals to be successful.

THE TRAGEDY

Hal Elrod is a young boy of 20, Who owns the title of one of the best salesman of his company. He is very happy in his life due to having a perfect balance in his personal and professional life simultaneously. The girl he was in love with was so aesthetic and thereby they wanted to spend the rest of their life together. Although everything was going good until this tragic incident took place, in which the author got so badly injured that his arm and leg broke moreover his lungs also got affected substantially. And besides, he was maimed with many severe injuries in different parts of his body. Thereby in no time it successfully huddled a rather good crowd around himself. And consequently, just in a while, he is referred to a nearby hospital.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT

Therefore, after exactly 6 days, When he gets his subconsciousness back. He is articulately informed by the doctors he was being treated with that he would not be able to walk ever in his entire life. But significantly what left him profoundly perplexed was the condition of his brain, which accordingly to the doctors had got damaged permanently.  After hearing from the doctors. He got in an absolute melancholic mood and the enthusiasm he possessed before the accident got interchanged with despondency and withered dark thoughts. He was in a situation, where he was not even competent to think anything better for himself nor could find any shore which could get him all the happiness back again, then abruptly his mentor’s advice hit his mind, who taught him to not think of the incidences and the results which cannot be changed.

COPING THE SITUATION

Hence he reconciles with the circumstances and ended up with the conclusion and a very strong notion, that either he would spend the rest of his life as the happiest person in the world on wheels or he would prove everyone wrong. Since that day he started living happily and would enjoy each moment in the hospital, Although his unexpected temperament even in that miserable situation would often bewilder doctors but they used to overlook it. Soon doctors themselves witnessed a miracle in his health as he was getting better every passing day and finally, he abandoned his wheelchair and proved everyone wrong with the aid of his imperishable willpower and headstrong nature. Thereafter he gets discharged from the hospital happily.

 THE ORDEAL PHASE

Hal Elrod as a fully enthusiastic and exuberant guy started enjoying life to its fullest again, But unfortunately, it did not continue any longer. In the year 2007-2008 when the economy crashed miserably, it blew away every businessman with itself and the author was also of the screwed ones. He lost all his money and he was so helpless that he had to stake his own mansion for survival. The author declared this phase ”THE WORST PHASE ” of his life. One day his wife suggested him to consult with one of his friend who was doing incredible even I that crisis. The author agrees to meet his friend also because was the only way flashing in his mind too.

 ELIMINATION OF AFFLICTIONS

The day he visits his friend’s house to discuss the strategies, he must implement to get over his poor situation, He is only suggested to read self-improvement books and exercising, Although the author expected much more than that and hence gets immensely disappointed with his advice. He found it completely absurd and even though if he was being misled, thereby he decided to listen to himself. Thereafter he garnered all the strategies and habits successful personalities would possess, and after a long study and research he as a gist ended up with a collection of six habits, which were common in every successful personality and also were the most valuable and effective.

LIFE BEFORE AND AFTER COMPLYING THESE HABITS

Although before complying with these rituals in his habits, He incurred a hefty debt of 50 million dollars and was about to sell his house due to not having left any asset except for it to sell for survival, and on top of these, he was also very unhealthy and rueful, But just in next 2 months of complying these rituals, He nor only doubled his income and saved his house, but also participated in a marathon.

 

THE GOLDEN SIX RITUALS

The author calls this ”savers”, Where each letter stands for a single ritual.

According to the author, just after waking up in the early morning, one must practice either meditation or do prayer to keep the mind fresh. This helps the mind to improve its performance and on top of everything it keeps the mind busy for a while, which assists it to pick and make appropriate decisions, such as rather than wasting time on using social media platforms, it must be kept busy on doing something creative…

”A” stands for affirmation

Affirmation is the process where an individual dictates itself to apply certain tasks and keeps reminding itself unless it gets implemented properly, it can be any habit, skill, quality etc…

 WHAT DOES IT DO

when affirmation is performed properly it targets the subconscious mind and realizes that whatever the particular task is being expected from it, can be done and lies within its limitations. It’s extremely powerful and consequently, it’s implemented by great personalities such as ceos of leading companies, leaders, entrepreneur etc…

HOW IS IT DONE?

Some people believe that it’s done every time before just implementing a certain task, but the best way to implement it is to just keep it within one-time dictation. It’s the strategy in which affirmation is done once ( our mind is sanctioned everything which is desired or expected) and then it is persisted till the end of the day.

”V” STANDS FOR VISUALIZATION

Visualization is quite similar to affirmation, in affirmation mind is dictated for certain tasks, whereas in visualization, the mind is focused on visualizing the incidences or occurrences that might take place once the task is performed properly.

there are plenty of examples that can be seen, who were at a time nothing but embracing vanquish. They decided to visualize themself in their future and started relating whatever they are expected from themselves and others, and finally, they manage to accomplish their target…

WHAT DOES IT OFFER?

Visualization basically stokes the inner flame which lies within us and motivates us to keep working towards the goal unless it’s achieved.

FOR EXAMPLE

When a person visualizes that he is confident, he seems to be rather confident. Whereas when a person is described a horrible situation associating with him, he ends up visualizing the repercussions of that event even before its occurrence, and due to which things go even worse than expected. Both cases illuminate the effect and the effect of visualization.

”E” stands for exercise

Exercising is undoubtedly one of the best habits one can perform on daily basis. Although its needless to describe the benefits of exercising but The primary advantages of exercise is that it provides an adequate amount of oxygen to the mind which aids it to perform well and it also does help in releasing endorphin which relaxes the mind and makes the person feel better, refreshed and happy.

He was a normal boy, wanted to become an actor. He was extremely determined about his desire and wanted to achieve it at any cost. One day he took a blank cheque and filled a hefty amount in it expecting that one day he will be withdrawing the amount. He would every day see that cheque and would imagine himself receiving the amount and would also realize how hard he actually has to work to make it happen, he so badly wanted it that he worked even harder and pushed himself beyond his own expectation, he realized his hidden strength and finally, that day came when he was being paid the same amount he wished initially. He, later on, ascribes his habits for his success, in which scribing was also a primary one.
